My Approach
For AptFuel, my focus was simple: make the app easy to use for agents who rely on it daily. I started by understanding how executive agents work — how they onboard, track referrals, check earnings, and manage their teams. From there, I designed the experience around speed, clarity, and easy access to important information.
Vision and Innovation
The vision was to create an app that feels easy to join and rewarding to use. Since the platform targets everyday users—not technical professionals—the design needed to feel approachable and straightforward. Innovation came from simplifying the agent onboarding process and clearly showing how users can participate, refer others, and earn incentives.
Identifying Unique Challenges
One major challenge was designing for users who may be new to agent-based or referral platforms. The app needed to explain how becoming an agent works without overwhelming users. Another challenge was keeping users engaged and motivated after onboarding, especially in a system driven by rewards and referrals.
Resolving Complex Problems
To solve this, I designed a guided onboarding flow that breaks the process into clear, manageable steps. Key actions—such as registration, verification, referrals, and rewards—were made easy to find and understand. The layout prioritizes clarity and reassurance, helping users feel confident as they move through the app.
User-Centric Design
The design was built around the mindset of a first-time user. Screens were kept simple, with clear labels, helpful prompts, and minimal distractions. Core features related to becoming an agent, inviting others, and tracking rewards were designed to be intuitive, so users can take action without confusion.
Detailed Pages and Features
The app includes onboarding and registration screens that guide users into becoming AptFuel agents. Referral features allow agents to invite others and grow their network. Reward and incentive screens help users understand what they earn and how participation benefits them. Supporting pages such as profile management and basic settings complete the experience and give users control over their accounts.
Accessibility and Optimization
The interface was designed for mobile-first use, with readable typography, clear buttons, and simple navigation. Screens were optimized to reduce steps and unnecessary complexity, making the app accessible to a wide range of users regardless of technical experience. Consistency across screens helps users learn the app quickly and use it confidently.
Conclusion
The AptFuel Agent App was designed to make joining and participating in the AptFuel ecosystem simple, clear, and rewarding. By focusing on onboarding, referrals, and incentives, the app supports user engagement and growth while keeping the experience easy to understand. This project highlights my ability to design user-friendly mobile experiences that drive participation and adoption.
